Golden Milk Sleep Tonic

Paired with our Gold Purifying Mask, it’s the perfect ritual to create your own wellness retreat from home. This tonic’s antioxidant-rich blend not only promotes glowing skin but also helps reduce inflammation, relieve stress, and combat puffiness. With key ingredients like turmeric, cinnamon, and ginger, it’s a soothing way to wind down, nourish your body, and prepare for a restful night’s sleep.

To make our Golden Milk Sleep Tonic, you will need:

  • 1 cup of milk of choice. We love Pure Harvest Unsweetened Almond Milk as it’s free from any nasty gums or additives.
  • 1 tsp ground turmeric (or 1-inch fresh turmeric root, grated)
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp ground ginger (or 1-inch fresh ginger root, grated)
  • 1 pinch cracked black pepper (to help our bodies absorb the turmeric)
  • 1 tsp honey (locally sourced and organic if possible)

Instructions:

  1. In a small saucepan, heat the almond milk over medium heat.
  2. Once warm, with a hand held electric whisk, mix in the turmeric, cinnamon, ginger and black pepper until fully combined.
  3. Let the mixture simmer for 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally with a spoon.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in the honey.
  5. Pour into your favourite mug, let it cool slightly, and enjoy.
